Sparks Lazy 5 Music Series Returns!

Every Wednesday evening, from July 11 to August 29, the free concerts are offered at 6:30 p.m at Lazy 5 Regional Park. Kicking off the series this year is The Critical Mass Band on July 11. The concerts include a free hamburger or hot dog provided by Summit Christian Church, which has paid more than $2,000 to sponsor the series each summer for the past few years. Every Saturday from mid-June to mid-October, I look forward to the downtown Reno Farmer's Market.  All of my favorite vendors are there, the sweet corn guy, the strawberry man, the red grape man and Tim from Amber Oaks with his berries, figs, apples and tomatoes.
