Every Wednesday evening, from July 11 to August 29, the free concerts are offered at 6:30 p.m at Lazy 5 Regional Park. Kicking off the series this year is The Critical Mass Band on July 11. The concerts include a free hamburger or hot dog provided by Summit Christian Church, which has paid more than $2,000 to sponsor the series each summer for the past few years. North Valleys Regional Park is located in the Sky Vista Subdivision in the Community of Stead I was in the Sky Vista subdivision on Wednesday previewing some homes for an out-of-state client. Every Saturday from mid-June to mid-October, I look forward to the downtown Reno Farmer's Market. All of my favorite vendors are there, the sweet corn guy, the strawberry man, the red grape man and Tim from Amber Oaks with his berries, figs, apples and tomatoes.
